Sfinx is a point-and-click adventure made in 1997 by the Polish studio LK Avalon. Two school friends, Vincent and Anna, learn from an old professor that a flying saucer has landed somewhere on Earth, and they set out on a journey to find the alien and help it.

You control both children and switch between them at any time, and many puzzles need both of them working together. The colourful hand-drawn scenes take you from Vincent's room and the streets of the town much further. The English version was translated by the ScummVM team with the permission of the copyright holders and runs here in your browser.

How to play

Watch the intro or press Esc to skip it.

Click to walk and to look at things; start in Vincent's room.

Stand close to an object and right-click it to take it or use it.

Click a portrait in the bottom panel to switch between Vincent and Anna.

Right click near an object: take it or use it

Inventory: click an item, then right-click on what to use it with

Portraits in the bottom panel: switch between Vincent and Anna

Esc: skip

Touch screen: tap to click, hold to right-click

Tips

Some places only one of the children can reach: switch when you are stuck.

Talk to people more than once; they often add something new.

Check every corner of a room: the first items are hidden in plain sight.
