Tiny Yurts is a calm path-building strategy game by burntcustard, inspired by Mini Motorways, that took 4th place at js13kGames 2023. Settlers live in yurts and need to reach their farms: draw paths between them and keep the animals and the people happy.

New yurts and farms keep appearing, the space fills up and the paths have to be planned better and better. You score points for your settlers (two per yurt) and for every animal. The whole game is drawn with SVG and CSS and fits into 13 kilobytes.

How to play

Click Start (Fullscreen is recommended on phones).

Click and drag to build a path from a yurt to a farm.

Right-click a path to remove it and plan a better route.

Keep connecting new yurts and farms so no animal is left unhappy.

Controls

Mouse / touch: click and drag to build paths

Right click: delete a path

Tips

Short, direct paths leave more room for the settlement to grow.

Remove old paths when a better route opens up.

Watch the animals: they show you which farm needs settlers.
