About The Lost Night
The Lost Night is a spooky retro adventure: you wake up in a strange town at night and must find your way home while spirits roam the streets.
Help the odd citizens to open new paths, shoot down spirits with your mysterious powers and spend the candy they drop at the vending machines. A small pixel-art RPG with arcade action, made in PICO-8.
How to play
- Press X to start the game.
- Explore the town and talk to its citizens.
- Shoot the spirits before they catch you.
- Spend candy at vending machines to grow stronger.
Controls
- Arrow keys / WASD: move
- X: interact and shoot
- Z: move faster (once unlocked)
Tips
- Keep moving — standing still lets the spirits close in.
- Find every vending machine for upgrades.
- Help the citizens; they open the way home.
Devices
Plays on computers; works on phones and tablets with some limits.
