Radius Raid is a space shoot 'em up by Jack Rugile, made for the js13kGames 2013 competition. Fly your ship around the arena, aim with the mouse and blast away unrelenting waves of enemies before they destroy you.
The game has 13 enemy types, 5 power-ups, parallax backgrounds and retro sound effects, and it keeps your stats in this browser. It is a fast, simple arcade game for short sessions, and it plays best in Chrome.
How to play
- Click Play on the title screen.
- Move your ship with W A S D or the arrow keys.
- Aim with the mouse and hold the button to fire, or press F for autofire.
- Pick up power-ups and clear each level of enemies.
Controls
- Touch screen: joystick bottom left, finger on the screen = aim and fire, A = autofire, ☰ = pause
- W A S D or arrow keys: move
- Mouse: aim; hold the button to fire
- F: autofire on or off
- P: pause; M: mute
Tips
- Keep moving: enemies come from every side.
- Autofire lets you focus on dodging.
- Your stats are saved in this browser (Stats on the title screen).
Devices
Plays on computers; works on phones and tablets with some limits.
