Role-playing games are about growing stronger. In Shattered Pixel Dungeon you pick one of six heroes and descend through 26 randomly generated floors to find the Amulet of Yendor; every run is different and death is final. Poker Quest turns poker hands into weapons: build pairs, straights and flushes to attack monsters and collect gear that changes the rules on your way to the final boss.

If you prefer a slower pace, Clicker Heroes lets you hire heroes who keep fighting while you are away, and A Dark Room starts with a cold room and a dead fire and slowly unfolds into a much bigger story. All of them are free, and your progress is saved on your device.
