Adventure games

In an adventure game you explore places, talk to people, collect items and combine them to solve puzzles that move the story forward. Beneath a Steel Sky is a science fiction thriller set in a bleak city of the future, with art by comic artist Dave Gibbons. Flight of the Amazon Queen sends a pilot for hire and a film star into the Amazon jungle in a 1940s adventure full of humour and voice acting.

Lure of the Temptress, the first game by Revolution Software, is a fantasy adventure in a small town taken over by an evil sorceress, and Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back is a comedy about rescuing a girl from a vampire's castle. Two Polish classics by LK Avalon join them: the village comedy Sołtys, where you chase a runaway groom, and Sfinx, where two school friends set out to help an alien whose flying saucer has landed on Earth. These classic games were released as freeware by their makers and run here in ScummVM, so you can play them for free and your saved games stay in your browser.
