Q1K3 is a retro first-person shooter in the style of the 1990s classics, packed into a browser game of only 13 kilobytes. Fight through two dark levels full of soldiers, zombies, ogres and hounds.
You have three weapons, doors, keys and dynamic lighting, plus an original soundtrack. It was made for the js13k competition and is a fun, fast blast of old-school action.
How to play
- Click into the game to start and capture the mouse.
- Explore the level and shoot the enemies.
- Pick up weapons, ammo and health on the way.
- Reach the end of the level to move on.
Controls
- W, A, S, D / arrow keys: move
- Mouse: look around
- Left mouse button: shoot
- Space / right mouse button: jump
- Q, E / mouse wheel: switch weapon
- Mouse speed can be changed under the game
- Touch screen: joystick on the left to move, drag a finger to look around, A = shoot, B = jump, X / Y = switch weapon (fullscreen button recommended)
Tips
- Strafe sideways while you shoot so enemies miss you.
- Save the stronger weapons for the big enemies.
- Explosive barrels hurt enemies too.
