About Simon Tatham’s Puzzle Collection

Similar to: Sudoku, Minesweeper. If you like Sudoku or Minesweeper, Simon Tatham’s Puzzle Collection is a free alternative you can play right here in your browser, with no download.

Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection is a much-loved set of 40 logic puzzles, written and refined by Simon Tatham and other contributors since 2004. It includes Net, where you rotate tiles to connect a network, Bridges, Loopy, Light Up, Mines, Solo, Keen, Galaxies, Same Game, Untangle and many more.

Every puzzle generates new games on demand, so you never run out, and most have several sizes and difficulty levels in the Type menu. Each one has undo and redo, a solver for when you are stuck, and its rules right under the board. The puzzles are small, quick to load, free of ads inside the game, and work with a mouse, a keyboard or a touch screen.

How to play

  1. Pick a puzzle from the list.
  2. Read the short rules under the board.
  3. Solve it with the mouse or by tapping; many puzzles also use a right click or long press for a second action.
  4. Press New game for another one, or change the size and difficulty in the Type menu.
